Sedona International Fine Woolens is the place to come for pashminas

We have one of the largest selections of shawls, stoles, scarves, jackets and throws in the Southwest. Our collection includes solid colors, jamawar, jaal, daur, ombre and other traditional motifs, and a large selection of hand embroidered and hand beaded shawls, garments and purses. All products, including sweaters, are fine cashmere, ultrafine merino wool, 100% pashmina, 70/30% or, for extra light summer wear 50/50% pashmina/silk. The so-called ring pashminas are so fine they can be passed through a wedding band with ease. Many of our shawls are heirloom pieces. You don’t just wear them; you preserve them for the next generation.

Our alpaca collection is second to none. You can find light weight or outer sweaters, coats, ponchos, capes, hats and more, some hand crocheted or embroidered in a variety of styles and colors. These are available in ethnic, modern chic and traditional designs.

Be a Trend Setter

All our Nordic sweaters are hand made. Designs are traditional and beautifully executed. From the top of the world, in Iceland, we have ponchos and capes and some of the most intricate, light and delicately made shawls imaginable.

We carry all hand made sweaters from Eastern Europe which have very intricate knitting patterns blended to modern absolutely “knock out” designs. You will not find your neighbor wearing any of these sweaters, that is, until she asks you where you found it.

We also carry work by some of the most skillful non-commercial weavers in the world, many with international reputations for design and quality. These include scarves, shawls, dresses, coats, ponchos and capes to name a few items. Many of the weaving patterns and techniques are original and intricate. All are very finely wrought.

Finally, we offer a selection of woolen tapestries made by artists from around the world, some of whose work hangs in prominent public and private collections. Some depict traditional scenes of local everyday life; others are more impressionistic, even abstract. Some are poignant, some full of joie de vivre. All are beautiful.
